With a focus on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), they are dedicated to helping their clients achieve their goals of maximum production uptime, zero harm, and operational efficiency.ProjectA commissioning crew for a FNLG vessel working offshore Western Africa.Job Summary:The Riggers will be responsible for rigging and lifting activities during the commissioning of the FLNG vessel. They will work closely with the Rigger Foreman to ensure safe and efficient handling of equipment and materials.Responsibilities:Load Preparation and Rigging Setup:Analyze load characteristics and determine appropriate rigging methods, equipment, and techniques.Inspect and prepare rigging hardware, slings, cables, chains, and hooks for lifting operations.Calculate load capacities, angles, and weight distribution to ensure safe lifting.Hoisting and Lifting Operations:Operate cranes, hoists, winches, and other lifting equipment to move and position heavy loads.Safely attach and secure rigging equipment to the load and lifting apparatus.Communicate effectively with crane operators and team members during lifting operations.Load Securement and Movement:Rig and secure loads onto trucks, trailers, or other transportation vehicles for safe transport.Ensure proper load balance, weight distribution, and anchoring to prevent shifting during transportation.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to strict safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and following established guidelines for rigging and lifting.Conduct safety checks on rigging equipment and lifting machinery before and after use.Communication and Collaboration:Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to plan and execute rigging operations.Communicate effectively with team members, equipment operators, and signal persons during lifting and moving activities.Inspection and Maintenance:Inspect rigging equipment and hardware regularly to identify wear, damage, or defects.Report any deficiencies and assist in the maintenance or replacement of rigging gear.Documentation:Maintain accurate records of rigging operations, load specifications, and safety measures taken.Complete required reports and paperwork related to rigging activities.Training and Development:Participate in ongoing training to stay current with rigging techniques, safety practices, and industry standards.Assist in training and mentoring junior riggers.Qualifications:Relevant certification in rigging or lifting operations.Previous experience as a Rigger on industrial projects.Knowledge of safety standards related to rigging and lifting.Essential RequirementsPrevious offshore experienceExperience working on a project (commissioning/construction/hookup)Need to be comfortable working offshore for 2-3 monthsValid PassportPossess the following certifications: BOSIET/FOET, OGUK Medical, Yellow Fever card, Fully vaccinated against COVID-19Job Type: CommissionApplication Question(s):Do you have previous offshore experience?Are you comfortable working offshore for 2-3 months at a time?Do you have a valid passport?Do you possess the following certifications: BOSIET/FOET, OGUK Medical, Yellow Fever card, Fully vaccinated against COVID-19?
