WE'RE HIRING! - Revenue & Debtors Controller

Full-Time | Hotel Division - Central Finance Office

Tintswalo Collection is looking for an experienced Revenue & Debtors Controller to support our luxury hotel portfolio. This role suits someone who is meticulous with reconciliations, confident with agent billing, and strong in data analysis and weekly reporting.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Revenue Control & Reconciliation

Daily checks between Benson PMS, Lightspeed POS, and bank accounts Investigate variances, missing charges, incorrect codes, voids & discounts Ensure clean, accurate daily revenue for multiple properties

Debtors Management

Issue Benson invoices for agents, corporates & operators Maintain up-to-date debtor profiles and accurate ageing analysis Drive collections with professional, persistent follow-ups Resolve short/incorrect payments and escalate at-risk accounts

Banking & Receipting

Allocate daily receipts in Benson Track unallocated payments and liaise with Reservations

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare & maintain:
- Debtors ageing

- Collections summary

- Top agents' revenue

- Country of origin reporting

- Achieved rates analysis

- Occupancy reporting (room nights & bed nights)

Produce weekly sales performance reports Provide discrepancy notes and commentary to the Hotel Financial Manager Analyze occupancy, achieved rate trends, and revenue performance across all properties

Data Integrity & Month-End Support

Maintain rate codes, commissions, discounts, and payment methods Provide revenue notes, discrepancy logs, and reporting support Support clean month-end revenue closure

Technical & Data Analysis Requirements

Strong PMS/POS reconciliation experience (Benson essential) Advanced Excel (Pivots, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, modelling & reconciliation templates) Ability to consolidate multi-property data into weekly dashboards Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities

What You Need to Succeed

2-4 years in

hospitality

finance,

hospitality

revenue control, or

hospitality

debtors' administration Experience producing occupancy, achieved rate, and agent performance reports Confident communicator with strong organizational skills Able to manage multi-property workload with accuracy and urgency Must live within 25 km of Steenberg with reliable transport
