A leading luxury tile and bathroomware retailer is seeking a professional Internal Showroom Retail Sales Consultant for their Somerset West branch. This is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic individual with proven sales success, a flair for design, and a passion for customer service excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consult with walk-in clients in a luxury showroom environment on tiles, taps, sanitaryware, and accessories
- Support new builds and renovation clients by calculating quantities from building plans
- Provide high-end customer service aligned with the Italtile brand
- Prepare quotations and follow up to close deals
- Conduct telephonic sales calls and follow-ups with professionals in the industry
- Assist with showroom maintenance: displays, pricing, POS materials
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- 5+ years' sales experience (retail/home improvement preferred)
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Target-driven with ability to work both independently and in a team
- Strong communication skills - written & verbal
- Competent in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Solid arithmetic skills and attention to detail
- Creative flair and design sense
- Own transport and valid SA driver's licence
- Minimum education: Matric
- Well-groomed, professional, and client-focused
- Able to multitask and meet showroom deadlines
