Role overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our showrooms. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing operational efficiency, maintaining brand integrity, and leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management
Drive store performance to meet and exceed sales and gross profit targets
Ensure compliance with discount management KPI
Manage operating expenses in line with budgets
Oversee effective stock control processes
General store administration
Brand & Customer Experience
Uphold exceptional Visual Merchandising standards and overall store presentation
Ensure showroom cleanliness and order across all areas
Deliver a premium, customer-centric shopping experience
Implement and maintain in-store standards, including music, staff dress code, and customer engagement
Execute consistent, high-quality business processes
People Management
Lead, motivate and manage all store staff
Conduct regular training and development
Manage performance
Operational Excellence
Ensure that processes detailed below are executed efficiently and as per company policy

What you bring:
Grade 12/ Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or degree)
Minimum 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in senior management role
Previous experience in a consumer-focused retail environment
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Excellent financial acumen - analyzing and interpreting sales figures, understanding financial indicators and budget management
Proficient in working with different systems and technology, including POS and stock management systems
Available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
Valid driver's license and own vehicle essential
