We are a boutique gelato company based in Cape Town, known for our handcrafted, artisanal flavours and commitment to quality. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Retail Assistant to help maintain high operational standards across our locations.Key Responsibilities:
Rotate between various store locations to fill in for staff shortages and support operations.
Assist with staff training and ensure adherence to company procedures and service standards.
Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.
Handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently and accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in stores.
Support store management in daily retail operations.Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
Own reliable transport is essential.
Flexibility to travel between multiple store locations.
Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
