Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, flavours, and food safety standards
Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant technology (Micros & Opera)
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of health and safety regulations in a dining setting
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting overall business objectives
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises the organizing of schedules for all restaurant management team
members Assist with marketing ideas, advertising material requirement, posts or design.
Collaborate in planning for events, conferences, dinners and special occasions.
Collaborate with the Cost controller on Beverage costings and pricing, frequently checking that all menu items are priced according to set COS target.
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of food and beverage activities.
Support the management and development of the restaurant team both front and back of house (in collaboration with the head chef).
Contribute to menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers, assist in negotiating prices, and manage procurement of ingredients and supplies for the bar.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels, minimizing waste, and optimizing stock control
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary dining environment
Participate in analysing sales and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
Support the development and execution of marketing initiatives to promote food and beverage offerings
Assist in administrative tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, conference & events quoting, debtors (payments follow ups)
