We're Hiring: Restaurant Manager

Location: Maria's Coffee, Graaff-Reinet

Maria's Coffee is looking for a

dynamic, self-sufficient Restaurant Manager

to take full ownership of our vibrant coffee shop, on-site roastery, and mobile coffee truck in Graaff-Reinet. The ideal candidate will

run the entire operation as if it's their own business

- managing profitability, day-to-day operations, stock, people, and guest experience with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for

daily operations, staffing, and profitability

of the restaurant, on-site roastery, and mobile coffee truck. Manage front-of-house (FOH) operations to Maria's Coffee standards. Oversee and coordinate the

mobile coffee truck's schedule, stock, and performance

. Manage the

on-site coffee roastery's daily operations

and

online orders

in conjunction with the roasting team and the General Manager. Coffee roasting experience is an

advantage but not essential

. Report directly to the

General Manager

. Ensure exceptional customer service and a high level of guest satisfaction. Manage stock, supplier relationships and cost control across all departments. Train, lead, and motivate staff. Drive the coffee, food, and service culture with passion.

What We Require:

Minimum 5 years' experience

in a similar Restaurant Manager role. Proven ability to

independently manage

restaurant and multi-faceted operations. Strong leadership, financial, and organisational skills. Passion for coffee, food, people, and the hospitality industry. The ability to work closely with the kitchen, roastery, and mobile coffee teams. Strong administrative skills to manage online coffee orders and back-end systems. Coffee roasting experience is an advantage but not a requirement - training can be provided. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
