Restaurant Manager
Our client are looking for two results-driven Restaurant Managers to lead the daily operations of our high-capacity restaurant in Centurion. This is a key role for experienced leaders with strong operational, people, and financial management skills especially in managing Gross Profit (GP) through efficient and structured processes.
Location: Centurion
Salary: R20 000 R40 000 (depending on experience)
Available Positions: 2
Start Date: As soon as possible
Working Hours: Restaurant hours (includes weekends and shifts)

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Oversee all restaurant operations (kitchen, dining, bar)
Maintain exceptional hygiene and service standards
Manage bookings, shift planning, and service flow
Team Leadership:
Lead and support a team of 40+ employees
Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance
Foster a strong culture of accountability and excellence
Financial Oversight & GP Control:
Analyze and manage Gross Profit (GP) and COGS
Collaborate with procurement and kitchen to meet targets
Monitor inventory, reduce waste, and track costs
Ensure menu pricing supports profit goals
Review and negotiate supplier agreements
Provide weekly/monthly performance and GP reports
Process Optimization:
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Streamline operations for efficiency and cost control
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
Customer Experience:
Ensure an exceptional and memorable guest experience
Handle feedback and complaints professionally
Uphold brand presentation and service standards
Requirements & Key Skills
Matric Certificate
5+ years experience in senior restaurant management
Proficient in Pilot POS * Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
Deep understanding of GP, COGS, stock, and team oversight
Leadership style that balances discipline and motivation
Excellent planning, analytical, and organizational skills

Operasionele Bestuur:
Bestuur daaglikse operasies (kombuis, eetarea en kroeg)
Handhaaf diens- en higienestandaarde
Koordineer besprekings, vloei van diens, en vloerbeplanning
Spanleierskap:
Bestuur 40+ personeellede (kombuis & vloer)
Werf, lei op, en evalueer personeel
Bou n span kultuur van aanspreeklikheid en diens
Brutowins & Finansiele Bestuur:
Ontleed GP-marges en bestuur koste van verkope (COGS)
Werk saam met kombuis/inkoop om voorraadbeheer te verbeter
Bepaal pryse en implementeer strategiee om winsmarges te bereik
Monitor verskaffers en onderhandel kostes
Verskaf gereelde finansiele verslagdoening
Prosesbestuur:
Ontwikkel en implementeer SOPs
Optimaliseer diens- en kombuisprosesse
Doen gereelde ouditte op kostebeperking en effektiwiteit
Klientediens en Handelsmerkstandaarde:
Verseker n uitsonderlike klientervaring
Hanteer terugvoer en klagtes professioneel
Hou standaard van aanbieding en gasvryheid hoog
Posvereistes en Sleutelvaardighede
Matrieksertifkaat
Minimum 5 jaar ervaring in restaurantebestuur
Vaardig wees in Pilot POS * Ervaring in die gasvryheidsbedryf word sterk verkies.
Sterk finansiele begrip van GP, COGS, voorraad
Leierskap, probleemoplossing en mensebestuur
Analitiese ingesteldheid en aandag aan detail
Gewoond aan n vinnige en hoedruk restaurantomgewing
