Restaurant Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our high-volume coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food & beverage, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and customer service throughout peak and off-peak hours.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste.
Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Create staff schedules and manage labor costs.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Customer Experience:
  • Lead by example in delivering friendly, efficient, and personalized service.
  • Handle customer feedback, queries, and complaints with professionalism and care.
Sales & Financials:
  • Achieve sales targets, manage budgets, and monitor daily financial performance.
  • Analyze sales trends and implement initiatives to drive revenue and profitability.
Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain documentation as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant/Coffee Shop Manager (2+ years in a similar role).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial and inventory management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Desirable:
  • Barista experience or coffee-specific knowledge.
  • Hospitality or business management qualifications.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and scheduling software.
