Restaurant Manager - Luxury Resort | Garden Route, South Africa
Salary: R25,000 - R30,000 per month (Please note that this is not a live-in role; accommodation is not provided)
A leisure and lifestyle resort situated in George, Western Cape, is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the full spectrum of dining service delivery at its luxury estate. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves operational planning, team development, service excellence, and financial oversight.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and motivate a high-performance restaurant team
-Handle recruitment, training, and team development
-Oversee budgeting, stock control, and cost management
-Maintain top-tier service standards across all dining experiences
-Address customer feedback and implement service improvements
-Drive operational enhancements through strategic planning
Requirements:
-Matric (Grade 12)
-Hospitality Management Qualification (minimum NQF5)
-Valid Driver's License
-Minimum 3 years in a restaurant management or leadership role
-Minimum 3 years in staff development, training, and people management
-Labour legislation, Budgeting and expense control & Strategic and operational planning
-Computer literacy in MS Office
Additional Information:
-Candidates must live in or near George or have their own accommodation
-Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts
-Should be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
