We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Previous hospitality expereince in a 4*/5* Game lodge is required.

Responsibilities:

• Motivate and manage all restaurant staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with resolving queries and guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee the entire service operation of the restaurant, including seating arrangements, order taking, and food delivery when required.
• Must be a quick thinker and solution driven.
• Conduct meetings and handovers with staff to communicate important information and ensure smooth operations.
• Manage staff rostering to optimize efficiency and meet business demands.
• Set and maintain restaurant targets for sales, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct monthly stock takes to monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management position in a restaurant or game lodge setting.
• Proficiency with the Micros system is essential.
• Polite, friendly demeanor with the ability to think on your feet.
• Well-spoken and presented individual.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee and motivate staff.
• Grade 12 qualification and computer literacy are required.
• A formal hospitality degree or diploma is preferable.
