Our client is opening a brand-new Halaal restaurant in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town and is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager with a passion for hospitality and team leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fresh concept in the local dining scene.
Description
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for launching and overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring service excellence, staff performance, and adherence to Halaal and hygiene standards. You'll work with a dedicated team to create a welcoming and efficient environment that supports both staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all front- and back-of-house operations
- Lead and train the restaurant team
- Ensure excellent customer service at all touchpoints
- Maintain operational standards and stock control
- Implement Halaal compliance and health & safety protocols
- Report on sales and team performance
Start Date: ASAP
Opening Date of Restaurant: 1 September
Working Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday: 9am-3pm or 3pm-9pm
- Friday & Saturday: 9am-4pm or 3pm-10pm
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Sound knowledge of restaurant operations and Halaal service standards
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
- Based in Cape Town, with immediate availability
