Job Summary Position: Restaurant Manager (Permanent) Location: Groot Brakriver Salary Range: R20,000 - R30,000 A destination restaurant in Groot Brakriver is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced a la carte environment and is passionate about hospitality. - You'll coordinate both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. - Proven experience in restaurant management is essential, especially in a la carte dining (not hotel or lodge-based). - You should be proficient in POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory software, with a solid understanding of budgeting and cost control. - Strong leadership, excellent communication, and top-tier customer service skills are key. - You'll manage staff schedules, monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues diplomatically, and collaborate with the kitchen team to align service with expectations. - Compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards is a must, along with managing cash handling and daily financial reporting. - Working hours: 7:30 am to close, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
