To oversee and manage the day to day operations of the restaurant.
To adhere to company standards and service levels.
To increase sales and manage costs.
To estimate food needs, place orders with distributors, and schedule the delivery of fresh food and supplies.
To conduct stock takes and investigate/manage variances.
To manage staffing levels and weekly roster.
To manage staff discipline and grievances
To enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
To be aware of all the statutory regulations affecting safety and ensure that any safety hazard is rectified.
To motivate staff and maintain standards of morale.
To ensure regular stock takes of all operating equipment at specified intervals.
To hold regular (on the job) training sessions to ensure that staff can perform their duties correctly.
Desired Work Experience
Minimum 3 years in a managerial role in a Franchised Restaurant, preferrably with Wimpy experience.
Education and Skills
Grade 12
In possession of a valid driver's licence and own transport
Computer Literate (Excel, E-Mail and Online Ordering)
Proficient in the English language
Good Communication Skills
Ability to liaise and interact with customers
Ability to lead, control and supervise staff
