Job Description
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager for a permanent role based in Broederstroom, Northwest Province
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management or Business Administration ideal
- 3+ years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality / restaurant industry
- Proven track record in restaurant operations, staff supervision, financial management & customer service
- Experience with systems, inventory control and cash handling
- Good understanding of health, safety & hygiene compliance
- Work hours : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, and every first and last weekend of the month will need to be worked
- Oversee daily restaurant operations
- Budgeting, promotions and cost control
- Lead, train and inspire team
- Manage inventory, supplier relations, compliance with health & safety and liquor regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar and event teams
- Handle customer feedback and complaints
- Ensure the restaurant runs efficiently, profitability and in line with company standards
