Camps Bay Social Club is looking for an experienced and motivated
General Manager
to lead operations at one of Camps Bay's most unique, high-energy venues.
This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on leading people, and takes pride in running a tight operation while delivering a great guest experience.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the overall performance of the venue, working closely with the Operations Manager and ownership. This is a leadership role that balances people management, operational excellence, and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service delivery
Lead, train, and grow a strong, engaged team
Maintain high service standards and a positive team culture
Manage staffing, rosters, and labour efficiency
Oversee stock control, ordering, and cost management
Handle cash-ups, reporting, and operational admin
Drive sales, efficiency, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a General Manager or Assistant GM in hospitality
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good understanding of hospitality operations and financial controls
Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
Ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak periods
