Job Description

Cape Care Pharmacy (Bree Street branch) is seeking a full-time Responsible Pharmacist to join our team. This is a permanent position and requires a pharmacist with at least two years' experience in a retail or community pharmacy environment. The role is supported by an Operations Manager, providing structure and reducing administrative load.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

Weekend shifts are covered by temporary pharmacists, with occasional oversight if required.

Salary:

R35,000 to R40,000 per month, depending on experience.

Performance-based increases will apply after the probation period.

Minimum Requirements:

B.Pharm degree. Current SAPC registration as a Pharmacist. Eligibility to register as a Responsible Pharmacist. Minimum of two years' pharmacy experience. Tutorship registration is an advantage, but not essential. Strong organisational, communication and accountability skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with SAPC, Medicines Act and Good Pharmacy Practice standards. Oversee SOPs, quality assurance and operational processes. Supervise support staff and maintain legal and ethical standards. Manage scheduled medicines, inventory and statutory recordkeeping. Deliver safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient care.
