Our client is a top real estate company operating in and around Gauteng, with over 20 years of experience and a portfolio of more than 10,000 residential and commercial units. They specialize in student accommodation, social housing, and long-term rentals, commercial offices and currently have a team of over 100 employees at their Head Office in Johannesburg. They are currently seeking a Residential Portfolio Manager.As a member of the team, you will directly report to the Operations Executive and be responsible for managing a portfolio of 22 residential and commercial buildings in the inner city. This role involves overseeing Area and Building Managers, as well as Debtors and Creditors Clerks. Your main objective will be to ensure that policies and procedures are correctly implemented to maintain well-kept buildings and high tenant satisfaction. You will also be responsible for budget preparation and management, tenant relations, contract services, and providing performance reports for the portfolio. In addition, you will oversee preventative maintenance plans, utility management, and insurance.In order to be eligible for the position, you must have a relevant National Diploma or Degree and at least 5 years of experience in Property Management within the residential sector. To be successful in securing the role, you must possess strong financial skills, the ability to lead a large team, and excellent organizational and coordination abilities. Familiarity with MDA/MRI software will be considered a plus.
