Resident Engineer - Eastern CapeIntroductionOur client, an Engineering consultancy require the skills of a Resident Engineer to be based at Mthatha, Eastern Cape for a fixed term contract of 14 monthsDuties & ResponsibilitiesMain job functionResponsible for contracts management within the projects environment, with a special focus on SANRAL projectsDesired Experience & QualificationQualificationsBSc or BEng or BTech in Civil EngineeringPr Eng or Pr Tech Registration with ECSAPr CMP Registration with SACPCMP will be an advantage CriteriaMinimum 10 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience in construction and/or projects site supervisionExperience as Engineerxe2x80x99s Representative on SANRAL project/s is requiredThorough working knowledge of specifications and Bill of Quantities (COLTO / COTO, SANS 1200, project specific etc.)Thorough working knowledge of Conditions of Contract (FIDIC 1999, NEC 3/4, GCC 2010/2015 and JBCC) will be beneficialProficient Microsoft Office skills requiredExcellent Communication and Interpersonal skillsExcellent client relation skillsInterested?A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
