Reservations Manager



Stellenbosch




Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the reservations.


You will work closely with the revenue team, and adhere to revenue management policies and procedures, as well as standard operating procedures.


Forming part of the leadership team, you will ensure that all data is accurate and maintained.


Along with your

Hotel School Diploma or other relevant tertiary qualification

, you have

4 years experience in reservations and in a hotel environment, with solid reservation operations and revenue management experience (3 years at the management/supervisory level).




Your knowledge of

Website Extranets

, experience with a

Property Management system

and familiarity with

Opera

reservations systems will see you far in this role.


You will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth operations at Stellenbosch Hotel. Your duties will include professionally managing guest complaints, handling a high volume of daily emails and switchboard calls, and fostering a collaborative team environment. With strong sales expertise and a proven track record, you will showcase excellent communication skills while maintaining a friendly yet professional approach.


You will focus on resolving issues promptly, making sound decisions under pressure, and upholding the highest ethical standards. Your keen attention to detail, strategic mindset, and organisational skills will drive results and help achieve company objectives. By building and maintaining strong working relationships, you will help create memorable experiences for our guests and embody our values in every interaction. Proficiency in computer systems and a proactive, self-motivated attitude will be key to excelling in this dynamic role.
