We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused
Reservations Agent
to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests and clients, handling booking requests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless and professional experience from enquiry to confirmation.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls, emails and online booking requests in a courteous and professional manner
Process and manage reservations accurately
Provide guests with detailed information on availability, rates, services, and special offers
Assist in upselling services, packages, or room upgrades to maximize revenue
Liaise with internal departments to ensure special requests and requirements are communicated effectively
Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and amendments
Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary
Deliver excellent customer service while upholding company standards and policies
Requirements
Previous experience in a reservations, or hospitality role (advantageous but not always necessary)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional telephone manner
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., Property Management System (PMS), or similar)
Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-driven approach
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required
