Identifies the need for human resources in projects and manages the allocated resources.
Assists with compiling and managing project budgets.

Collects, captures and processes data with basic analysis.
Provides verbal and written reports on work activities and results.
Adheres to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations during project implementation.
Provides guidance or mentorship to junior team members or interns.
Assists in the preparation for presentations.
BSc or BTech in Plant Production/Horticulture/Plant Sciences or any other relevant qualification.
Experience and understanding of fruit tree breeding will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with plant breeding protocols, such as controlled pollination, hybridization, and selection.
Knowledge in the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
Competence in using agricultural tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Proven expertise in horticulture and plant production techniques, with a strong focus on fruit tree breeding and propagation methods will be an added advantage.
Registration with a relevant scientific registration body will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
A valid Code EB driver's licence and ability to drive.
