Minimum requirements
A tertiary qualification (NQF level 6 or higher) in administration or equivalent/relevant
Minimum of three (3) years' work experience, including at least one (1) year in administrative roles with financial, project management responsibilities and demonstrable relevant experience
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours)
Strong financial administration skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, multi-project environment, working with multiple teams and reports
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proactive, independent and able to see projects through to the end
Collaborative team player
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint is important
Familiarity with grant and project administration processes and institutional compliance requirements
Experience in financial administration, preferably using an enterprise resource planning system e.g. Oracle/similar
Desirable Experience
Experience in research administration or working within a university or research institute is highly advantageous
Experience working with project management tools and applications desirable
