Reporting Manager Finance

Our esteemed pharmaceutical client based in Johannesburg seeks a seasoned Reporting Manager possessing a CA(SA) designation. This role entails overseeing financial reporting duties along with delivering comprehensive financial support and guidance for both ad hoc initiatives and project-related business needs within the Division. If you are a CA(SA) equipped with proficiency in Hyperion and Oracle, coupled with advanced Excel skills, you would meet the requirements for this role.

Job Outputs

• Prepare, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive financial reports for group purposes, encompassing monthly management reports, supporting schedules, reconciliations, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring strict adherence to all deadlines
• Collaborate with Group finance to resolve management accounting queries effectively
• Conduct and consolidate monthly business reviews for the specified division, analysing variances, addressing inconsistencies, performing cost analysis, and overseeing stock provision management.
• Generate financial analyses and forecasts for prospective new products to assess their viability
• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the budgeting process, including assembling the budget pack
• Compile and submit year-end packs, board packs, and the annual insurance questionnaire promptly
• Manage the annual audit process meticulously, ensuring accurate preparation of all deliverables within specified deadlines. Maintain meticulous financial and accounting records in alignment with internal, legislative, and regulatory standards in readiness for both internal and external audits
• Provide invaluable information and commercial support to sales and marketing teams, offering ad-hoc guidance and review to facilitate informed decision-making and risk management
• Efficiently oversee FEC and foreign payments, as well as manage the trading term process
• Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing processes and implement necessary actions for continuous improvement
• Supervise the performance of direct reports, fostering their growth and development through regular performance feedback, coaching, and guidance
