A well-established company and a market leader in their industry based in Brackenfell, is currently looking for an experienced Repair Technician (HVAC) who has extensive knowledge of HVAC Systems and will be able to assess faults and implement solutions. The role focuses on assessing the problem or damage of a device and implementing solutions for it to function again. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 - 6 years' experience with the following:
Ensure Company dress code is adhered to at all times when representing the Company
Arrive at work / the office on time every working day
Ensure proper preparation and stock management is implemented before leaving the office to head out to a customer site
Conduct oneself in the correct manner and in accordance with the standards detailed in the operations manual
Provide exceptional customer service and take due care to avoid damage to customer property
Follow all reasonable instructions and requests issued by the Operations Manager when working at customer premises
Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment as per job cards
Identify maintenance risks on equipment
Work overtime when required to do so by management
Utilize all tools and equipment correctly and only use the same for the purpose for which it was intended
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions as required by management
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, product standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Wear the relevant personal protective equipment or clothing items as may be required by management with regards to health and safety
Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
Assist with customer queries
Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order
Conduct thorough site clean-up on completion of work at customer site
Examining customers' appliances and identifying the cause of unit breakdowns
Performing maintenance work on customers' units
Providing feedback to Office Admin staff
Repairing or replacing defective or damaged unit components upon approval from customers
Advising customers on how to use appliances correctly
