Duties:

  • Remuneration Focus (20%)
  • Prepare salary data for external benchmarking and analysis
  • Assist with reward programme administration (e.g. annual increases, STI/LTI calculations)
  • Compile data for annual BBBEE audits and COIDA submissions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant reward legislation and support year-end audit requirements
  • Support communication efforts around reward programmes
  • Data Analytics Focus (80%)
  • Gather, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reports
  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities that influence decision-making
  • Validate findings using statistical methods
  • Contribute to automation and optimisation of payroll data processes
  • Support year-end reporting and ad hoc data needs
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with POPIA across all work
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or similar
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or remuneration
  • Strong skills in Excel (including pivot tables & complex formulas), Power BI, SQL or Tableau
  • Knowledge of HR systems, payroll structures, and remuneration frameworks is a plus
  • GRP certification (advantageous)
Skills & Competencies:
  • Analytical with sharp attention to detail
  • Organised and deadline-oriented, even under pressure
  • A confident communicator who works well with cross-functional teams
  • Able to handle sensitive data with professionalism and discretion
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively
  • Experienced in supporting senior leadership through actionable insights
