Job Summary

About the position:

The Relationship Banker will work within the team, focusing on Ultra High-Net Worth Individuals (UHNW) based in the Paarl area. The Relationship Banking role requires strong relationship management and acquisition of UHNW clients and the ability to articulate and sell our client's bank value proposition. This individual must understand UHNW individuals' financial position (personal balance sheet, business structures, family structures) and the ability to identify opportunities is a key component of this role.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary Degree (Preferably B. Com, B. Bus Sci or any related qualification)
  • Min 5 - 6 years financial services experience in a comparable role
  • In depth knowledge of Deal Structuring
  • Ability to network within the organization
  • Engaging and interacting with international geographies, as networking and connecting clients is critical for this role
  • Experience in Wealth Management and Structured Property Finance will be advantageous
  • Awareness and management of compliance and regulatory frameworks in all dealings with clients
  • Professionally presented, strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for socializing and networking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Good marketing and cross-selling skills
