Registered Nurse Wellness Centre (mpumalanga)
Job Description
Provide professional nursing care to patients within a structured, multidisciplinary mental health and addiction recovery setting.
Conduct patient assessments, monitor symptoms, and administer prescribed medications according to psychiatrist's and doctor's instructions.
Manage and document withdrawal monitoring, mental health observations, and behavioural notes.
Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation, including medication records, vital signs, and incident logs.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and clinical reviews.
Assist in training and mentoring junior nursing staff where required.
Ensure compliance with SANC standards, ethical guidelines, and facility protocols.
Uphold infection control, patient confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications:
Registered Professional Nurse (with valid SANC registration)Experience:
Minimum 3 years of psychiatric or mental health experience in a hospital or rehabilitation environmentLanguages:
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (both spoken and written)Transport:
Must have own reliable transport to and from workAvailability:
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per rosterPersonal Attributes
