Job Overview
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Qualification
- 5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Registered Nurse
- Post basic qualification or busy studying management will serve as a recommendation
- Proven leadership skills xe2x80x93 leading by example xe2x80x93 team builder
- Outstanding interpersonal and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English and another language (Fully bilingual)
- Computer literate
- Good work management xe2x80x93 Planning, organising and coordinating skills
- High energy levels / tolerance of stress / assertiveness
- Quality patient care orientation
The main purpose of this position: To plan, coordinate and manage the staff and activities within their area, thereby ensuring that all patients receive the acceptable level of care
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Policy implementation and control
- Organising and co-ordination of staff and patient care activities
- Personnel Management (Orientation, evaluation, remedial training, motivation, etc.)
- Liaise with other members of the multi-disciplinary team
- Support in terms of training and development of nursing staff
- Ensure the quality levels are adhered to
- Finances xe2x80x93 Budget control, creative input to better the service and promote productivity through teamwork
