Job Description

Responsibilities: Operations Support:



Keeping Area Managers and Operations Managers up to date on where the stock is currently in the pipeline (Stock in Transit, Stock on Hand, Stock in DC).

Gathering information on allocations and store grading and giving this info to the Operations and Area Managers to assist with decision-making on stock levels and missed opportunities on product assortment and store profile.

Pulls stock holding reports and analyse and communicates out of line situations to the Operations Manager and Regional Leaders. Extract data from the system (MIS, Defocus, Sales Analysis, etc.). Assist the Regional Leaders with communication between the MOM's (Merchandise Operations Manager), stores and courier.



Managing Merchandise:



Contacting the Manager of Merchandise (MOM) on all stock related queries including under and over stocks.

Ensure consolidations and "transfer out" lists from MOM and/or location planners are actioned & the pulling of clear-out lists from the systems.

Pulling year and older and sending the lists with item codes to the stores.

With regards to the new stores opening follow up on the DC and location planners to ensure that the right amount of stock arrives in the store at the right time. Communicating out of line situations to the Operations Manager/Regional Leader/MOM.



Analytics:



Compile/analyse weekly Postmortem.

Doing the bin analysis after stock take to identify all odds in stores and clearing of odds.
* Implementing Store stock analysis in the areas, following up and sorting issues accordingly. This could result in regrading of stores, reworking the optimums and actioning of markdown clear-outs.
