Develop and Drive Regional Sales Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans and targets for regional bakery sales, aiming to optimise profitable sales margins for all inland bakeries in alignment with the Regional Executive.
Lead High-Performing Teams: Lead and manage high-performing Inland Bakery teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Development Plans: Complete internal development plans to acquire the competence required for the full regional executive role within the designated schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Work together with senior leadership to develop and execute a dynamic sales strategy tailored to the region's market dynamics.
Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Market Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Customer Relationships: To drive customer loyalty and growth, Foster and strengthen relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners.
Expense Management: Proactively manage expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide transparent financial reports to support informed decision-making.
Performance Metrics: Implement sales performance metrics, regularly monitor, and report on sales performance, and make data-driven improvements.
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and successful product launches.
Community Engagement: Establish a positive community presence by managing product donations for corporate social investment (CSI), building relationships with key customers, and supporting the bakery sales team with problem resolution and customer complaints.
CSI Initiatives: Identify and drive the implementation of CSI initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or relevant professional certification will be advantageous.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FMCG sales, with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. Experience in Sales Team Management and driving performance is essential.
