Purpose of the Role:
The role holds overall accountability for the delivery of budget and revenue forecasts for the Africa division.
Responsibilities include the development and implementation of overall strategy agreed on by EXCO to ensure sustainable revenue growth of our product offerings throughout LexisNexis-SA permitted African territories.

Responsibilities include the development and implementation of overall strategy agreed on by EXCO to ensure sustainable revenue growth of our product offerings throughout LexisNexis SA permitted African territories.
Key Accountabilities:
Profit and Loss
Assume responsibility for delivery of revenue and profit forecasts in respect of assigned African territories.
Generate and sustain new business pipeline for all LexisNexis product offerings for assigned territories.
Develop revenue contingency plans to account for unforeseen variances in forecasts and ensure delivery of targets
Compile monthly executive reports.
Strategy and Business Development
Responsible for implementation of annual strategic plan as agreed with the Executive Team in South Africa
Monitor and pursue opportunities in new markets and (report - Change to record) daily on progress on our CRM system.
Develop relationships with key customers in each territory
Compile and deliver quotes, proposals and tender documents.
Research and remain abreast of international / local competitive trends and product developments.
Develop marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the product/services in the local SA market and African markets
Operational Execution
Maintain a customer, bottom line and big picture focus
Develop, implement and monitor visitation programs to source new customers and opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:
5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience selling technology solutions and software is an advantage
3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience selling into the legal fraternity is an advantage
3 years' experience selling GRC solutions is an advantage
Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 Sales experience, software solution sales an advantage
Previous sales experience into Africa an advantage
Graduate University degree in Law, Marketing or Business Management
Numerical ability
Excellent customer relationship management skills.
