Regional Operations Trainer

, centrally based in Stellenbosch. This dynamic role is built for a road warrior, requiring frequent travel across RSA and Africa. You won't just train, you'll be the expert on the ground, conducting vital store observations, scheduling powerful operational and behavioural programs, and personally upskilling our dedicated store employees to ensure peak performance and customer delight across the region.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING



Be the Regional Subject Matter Expert:

Master Hungry Lion's operational procedures, systems, and strategy to serve as the definitive training authority for all store staff across the region.

Drive Performance and Quality:

Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses to identify knowledge gaps, review and address deviations from store success routines, and take full ownership of closing all training gaps observed on the ground.

Hands-On Coaching and Development:

Coach, guide, and train store staff on critical areas, including core customer satisfaction skills and efficient store processes. Actively support and contribute to the long-term career growth of all store employees.

Support New Store Growth:

Plan and execute the operational training for all

new store openings

across the region (RSA and Africa).

Measure and Report Impact:

Compile detailed, action-oriented reports for Headquarters after each store visit, including checklists, observation summaries, and concrete training recommendations. Design and execute effective electronic and verbal assessments to accurately measure the success of all training interventions and ensure full follow-through.

Contribute to L&D Strategy:

Actively participate in, contribute to, and drive the regional success of new learning and development projects rolled out by Hungry Lion HQ.

REQUIREMENTS



Essential:



Grade 12 (or similar / equivalent qualification). Facilitator Certification Quick Service Restaurant Branch operations experience Valid driver's licence. Flexible to travel frequently.

Desirable:



Knowledge of adult learning principles and outcome-based education principles. Train-the-Trainer experience/facilitation skills.
