Job Description

Devise and implement a marketing strategy for specific geographic and consumer segments. Problem/opportunity/new sites and optimize the potential of these sites to increase attendances and grow market share.

Regional Marketing Manager Job Duties:



Garner insight into the declining attendances at each site Maintain local media relationships and establish partnerships with mall management and their affiliate marketing teams/agencies as required Based on insights develop and implement a plan to turn the site around in three months Heighten and accentuate awareness of the sites with defined target market Work with media agency to develop a media plan around these sites Keep Regional informed of all activities planned around the marketing on these sites Monitor Club sales by site and assist where required Build and maintain relationship with Complex Managers Ensure that Complex Managers are kept updated on all activations/promotions/advertising relevant to their Cinema. Meet regularly with Mall Marketing Management to keep updated on their initiatives and ascertain mutual benefits of collaboration. Monitor line ups at these sites. (9 week window) Liaise with A & S. Dept. Keep updated on Developments around these sites (new housing developments, refurbishing of Malls etc.) Keep updated on National promotions to determine if Site Specific modification could apply. Brief SK Creative Department on specific requirements re artwork for specific promotions, display ads, competitions etc. Proof all artwork Obtain relevant approvals to ensure Brand Messaging is in line with Strategy. Placement of adverts etc. into relevant media Ensure Film Distributors are aligned with the opportunities presented at these sites and where possible can support the marketing interventions (screenings, media buying, events etc.) Develop an emerging market media campaign together that dovetails the brand campaign (one message) for specific sites Develop activations together that targets the emerging market at selected sites Assess and monitor opportunities from Studio Marketing to tie in with media (ATL) as well as promos (BTL) against this market Ensure PR team participation Ensure all creative is in line with the Ster-Kinekor brand strategy Post campaign analysis to monitor effectiveness of activities Budget is managed within parameters with no overspend Input into monthly manco reports Report on projects/post campaigns/attendance tracking Ensure all tasks are delivered on time. Ongoing monitoring of Problem / Opportunity site attendances Ensure that Complex Managers are kept updated on all activations/promotions/advertising relevant to their Cinema. Assist with all new builds within the regional Assist with all refurbs within the region Conduct postmortem studies on major marketing / promotional / advertising campaigns to identify successes, failures and areas for improvement/changes

Qualifications:



Diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing

Experience and Knowledge of:



5+ years' working experience in Marketing and/or trade marketing

Skills:
