Job Summary
To develop tactical strategy and delivery plans, formulate associated practice/s and to ensure operational implementation and adoption i.t.o. forensic methodology, governance and delivery objectives.

Forensic Investigation ExpertiseProven experience in managing and conducting forensic investigations (financial, operational, cyber-related). Strong understanding of fraud risk management, anti-corruption frameworks, and regulatory compliance. Ability to lead complex investigations and produce high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Data Interpretation and Analytical ThinkingStrong ability to interpret and apply data insights to support forensic investigations and risk mitigation. Experience working with data analytics outputs to identify anomalies, trends, and patterns. Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Engineers and Analysts to translate technical findings into actionable intelligence. Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Excel, and case management systems is advantageous.

Strategic and Operational LeadershipStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop forensic professionals. Experience in developing and implementing regional forensic strategies aligned with national objectives. Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and present findings with clarity and impact.

Legal and Regulatory AcumenSound knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., PRECCA, FICA, Companies Act, Cybercrimes Act). Ability to liaise with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and legal counsel.

Communication and ReportingExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare and present investigation findings, dashboards, and risk insights to executive audiences.

Innovation and Continuous ImprovementPassion for innovation in forensic methodologies and tools. Ability to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and proactive risk detection.Qualifications and Experience Relevant tertiary qualification in Forensic Accounting, Law, Criminology, Data Science, or related field. Professional certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CISA, or equivalent are advantageous. Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in forensic investigations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
