Job Description


Assisting in developing and maintaining HR policies and internal procedures & processes as well as ensuring compliance and provide training.
Responsible for recruitment, selection and placement of staff in coordination with recruitment department and in line with Employment Equity plan.
Co-ordinating Training and development of staff.
Compiling HR department budget according to HR standards and BU's manpower budget and detail analysis of monthly variances in managing of these.
Conducting research and develop short- and medium-term plans for the region's H R functionality.
Will be responsible for maintenance of personnel records and administering of conditions and benefits related to condition found in a diversified group governed by different Bargaining Councils.
Developing and implementing Human Resources communication strategies.
Processing & procedures and policies in the framework of Personnel Services.
Qualifications & Skills
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
Post degree qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 7 years relevant HR experience in a unionized HR environment
Must come from transport or motor industry
Minimum of five years' experience been in a managerial position.
Knowledge of computerized systems such as HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance systems will be required.
Knowledge of applicable legislation and Main Agreements.
