Driving the expected market share, as set out by Kia SA. Maximising profitability and ensuring employee and customer satisfaction.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment

  • Grow Market Share in region
  • Maximise profitability and control cost
  • Maximise sales of group value- added products
  • Sales of parts and accessories in line with the targets set by Kia
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Marketing of sales and after sales in the region
  • Identify opportunities to grow brand in the region
  • Results driven.
Operations/Product/Customers
  • Increase sales of new and used vehicles, workshop labour and parts in order to achieve Financial Year objectives.
  • Customer service
  • Promote events, launches, social media and corporate social responsibility
  • Product and technical training
  • Ensure company complies with Health and Safety regulations and company regulations
  • Implement brand/s CI across all dealers in line with the Importer requirements Monthly review with all Business units
  • Weekly meeting review performance MTD
Financial
  • Compile budgets and forecasts
  • Maximise margin across all product departments
  • Analyse and reduce cost
  • Manage working capital in line with the Importer stock level requirements to reduce interest
  • Stock management new cars used cars and parts
People Management
  • Provide leadership for the region through Legitimate Leadership focus & initiatives
  • Recruit and develop talent & employees in all departments
  • Manage performance daily, weekly and monthly VS budget
  • Attain Transformation goals
  • Identify talent and develop individuals for future growth
  • Communicate feedback on performance to individuals
  • Guide and mentor employees
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
  • A post Matric qualification, preferably Degree
  • At least 5 years management experience in Motor Retail Industry as a Dealer Principal and/or relevant Regional Managerial experience
  • A valid South African driver's license
