We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Regional Compliance Manager
to oversee and strengthen our compliance framework across the region. The successful candidate will ensure that all operations adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards while promoting a strong culture of integrity.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Bachelor's degree (Legal or Accounting) or equivalent qualification
Completed SAICA Articles
4 years' finance/auditing experience
Strong understanding of compliance, internal controls, and financial governance principles.
Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel when required.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Regional Compliance Management and Planning
Reporting and Governance
Regional Finance & Admin Oversight
Risk Monitoring
Monitor compliance with regional and national regulatory requirements.
Conduct audits, investigations, and compliance risk assessments.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and staff training programs.
Provide expert guidance to management and regional teams on compliance-related matters.
Prepare accurate compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise with regulators and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
Identify emerging risks and recommend proactive solutions.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of derivative securities, agricultural derivatives, and foreign commodity derivatives
Solid experience and understanding of anti-money laundering are essential
Knowledge of best practices/trends within the regulatory and compliance framework
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Drafting skills
Excellent Computer skills
Time management skills
