Job Description


PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The incumbent is responsible for championing all Talent Management, Change Management and OD related activities in the business.

EDUCATION (Formal Qualifications Required):

  • Grade 12, and Degree in Human Resources / Industrial Psychology or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
  • Driver's License
  • Training (On the job training should the present incumbent leave)
  • Minimum 3 years Experience in Talent Management or OD/ HR related environment
EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - TYPE AND NUMBER OF YEARS):
  • Talent Management Officer (3 5 Year (s)
  • Change Management Officer (3 5 Year (s)
KPA / MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:

Champion Talent Management Initiatives:
  • Implement initiatives to attract and retain talent in the organization
  • Implement employer branding and positioning projects
  • Design frameworks for employee on-boarding and support implementation
  • Consult with leadership and the organization on initiatives to drive employee effectiveness
  • Develop methods to ensure that performance management aligns with organizational goals
Maintain Talent Management Administration:
  • Keep up to date information related to Talent Conversations
  • Compile Talent Management Reports
  • Guide management on Succession planning and
  • Keep records related to Talent Management activities
Staffing:
  • Provide line managers with advice and support pertaining to the acquisition of staff within the boundaries of the relevant policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assist with the compiling of a shortlist of potential candidates together with the line manager.
  • Prepare the required reports for approval and offers for prospective employees.
  • Conduct induction for every new employee in line with the Induction policy and procedure.
  • Work closely with the Senior HR Manager, Senior Management and Mid Management to plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy.
  • Work alongside Senior HR Manager to update the companys policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing.
  • Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions.
Human Resources Policies:
  • Provide input into the development of Human Resources policies and procedures in partnership with Management.
Human Resources Administration:
  • Perform the day-to-day Human Resources administration of SACAA policy and procedures.
  • Attend to queries and follow up with the line managers and employees in line with the time frames as outlines in the HR SLA. Assist in the planning and implementation of HR events.
