Job Description

Our expanding finance team is looking for a Reconciliation Analyst who will deliver in the completion of the monthly carrier reconciliations cycle. Key to this role is proficient analytical skills and excel skills. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills and an understanding of accounting principles. The chosen candidate will also be able to review data, understand processes and find solutions to challenges. The role will be part of the finance team and support the overall goals of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrier (key supplier) reconciliations Reconciliation tracking and reporting Aiding in the completion of the reconciliation monthly cycle Variance resolution Margin Analysis Product Analysis Building rapport with supplier, challenging charges and obtaining credits Product tariff management Wholesale and customer pricing analysis Liaising with team members and other teams Ad-hoc analysis to support the Finance Team
Key Requirements:

IT literate with excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge Sage 200 experience is preferred Excellent analytical & organisational skills Reconciliation experience You will have both excellent verbal and written communication skills able to deal with key stake holders at all levels You will be a positive, pro-active and personable individual who will fit in well with this dynamic small team of individuals You will be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines without direct, daily supervision

Pay: R25000,00 - R30000,00 per month
