Minimum Experience and Qualifications Required:

Grade 12 (Matric)

Post-matric hotel school qualification advantageous

p
1-2 years' experience in a five-star property with night auditing exposure

p
Proficient in computer systems

Excellent communication and numeracy skills

li
p
High level of English proficiency
br
/p
/li
li
p
Must be motivated, enthusiastic, and a strong team player

Must be willing and able to work shifts and under pressure

Own transport preferable

Respond to email requests professionally and efficiently

Manage guest enquiries and deliver detailed, informed responses

Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel room categories and property layout

Understand and communicate the property's various offerings

/p
/li
li
p
Effectively resolve guest complaints and issues
br
/p
/li
li
p
Take full responsibility for the night shift, ensuring smooth operations

/p
/li
li
p
Manage guest accounts and perform daily pit checks
br
/p
/li
li
p
Balance daily revenue reports accurately
br
/p
/li
li
p
Distribute reports to relevant department heads daily
br
/p
/li
li
p
Operate Opera Cloud (Property Management System)
br
/p
/li
li
p
Check guests in and out, and assist with rooming as needed
br
/p
/li
li
p
Operate the switchboard and handle incoming calls
br
/p
/li
li
p
Assist with restaurant bookings and hotel reservations
br
/p
/li
li
p
Liaise efficiently between all departments
br
/p
/li
li
p
Consistently go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction
br
/p
/li
li
p
Provide support to colleagues and assist other departments where needed
br
/p
/li
li
p
Foster and maintain positive relationships with team members
br
