We are a reputable Air Conditioning Company based in Montague Gardens, currently seeking a dedicated
Receptionist / Office Administrator
to take charge of our front-of-house function and provide essential support to our administrative operations.
Role Overview:
As a
Receptionist / Office Administrator
, you will play a key role in managing our front-of-house operations while providing essential administrative support across various departments. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires professionalism, organisation and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Operating and managing the switchboard
Screening and transferring calls to the correct departments
Taking and distributing accurate messages
Coordinating deliveries and collections
Monitoring and ordering stationery and office supplies
Updating and circulating internal extension lists
Handling email, phone, and basic IT queries as first point of contact
Booking printer services and ordering consumables
Maintaining and updating internal spreadsheets and registers
Booking staff medical appointments and recording records
Completing credit application forms
Supporting the maintenance of Health & Safety files
Managing employee cellphone contracts
Booking company vehicles for servicing or repairs
Managing vehicle insurance claims and fines
Performing general administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
Matric / Senior Certificate
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attributes:

Ability to meet deadlines accurately
Ability to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities
Well-spoken, presentable, and professional
Detail-oriented, hardworking, and reliable
