Job Description
Boutique Hotel close to Plettenberg Bay is looking for an experienced Receptionist / Guest Assistant. You will excel in this role if you are highly presentable, energetic and vibrant with a friendly disposition. Excellent guest relation skills, willingness to go the extra mile and exceeding guestsxe2x80x99 expectations will result in success within this role. Responsibilities:
- Ensure a seamless guest experience through the related processes and procedures including guestxe2x80x99s arriva land check-in, guest relations and interactions, departure, check-out and billing
- Concierge services
- Recommendations, upselling and cross selling including partner experiences
- Positive inter departmental andc olleague communication
- Monitor O status and management accounts
- Guest feedback reporting
- Follow and enforce all Health and Safety processes and procedures whilst maintaining the privacy of all guests
- Grade12 / Matric Certificate
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management would be advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Front Office operations of a luxury hotel
- Proficient in use of various well-known Property Management systems
- Conversant with specialist terminology including F&B service, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Wardrobe, Security and Operational Finance
- Certificate in First Aid /Fire Fighting / Health and Safety would be advantageous
- Ability to work shifts including night shift
- Valid drivers license would be advantageous
