Job Description


Qualifications, experience and other competencies required: To receive all products and packaging from suppliers. Responsibilities:

  • To receive all products from suppliers in standardised manner
  • Check for discrepancies in quantity between goods received and delivery note
  • Check product for quality deficiencies
  • Supervise and assist in offloading of goods
  • Receive goods into storeroom and sign off delivery note
  • Liaise with buyers regarding incorrect deliveries
  • Coordinate return of reject materials
  • Ensuring that the receiving door is secure at all times
  • Maintain high standards of safety in the receiving area
  • To maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the receiving area
  • To assist with general or ad hoc duties.
Minimum Requirements :
  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in receiving
  • Ability to deliver faultless work
  • Excellent communication, problem solving & time management skills
  • Quality, safety & results focussed.
