Job Description

We are currently seeking a reach truck operator to assist with moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting stock in a warehouse or distribution environment. The Reach truck operator will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform general warehouse duties.
Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Valid Reach Truck Operator License
• 1-2 years of experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse procedures
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
• Physically fit and able to work shifts/overtime if required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a reach truck to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated areas using a reach truck.
• Conduct daily inspection and routine maintenance of the reach truck (battery levels, brakes, forks, etc.).
• Ensure accurate inventory control by following proper stock rotation and replenishment processes.
• Pick and stage orders for dispatch according to work orders and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow health and safety standards and comply with company policies.
• Report any damages or shortages to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist in general warehouse duties when not operating the reach truck.
