Are you an experienced quality control professional who thrives on compliance, precision, and leadership? Our client, a top pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Raw Material Supervisor to become part of their team.
In this role, you will provide expert knowledge and lead the Quality Control (QC) team, ensuring that all raw material sampling and testing activities align with GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards. You will be instrumental in upholding the integrity of the Quality Management System while also supporting and fostering the development of the QC team..
Qualifications and Experience Required

  • National Diploma in Chemistry / Biotechnology OR BSc Degree
  • Minimum 5 years QC laboratory experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Prior supervisory experience will be an advantage
  • Technical knowledge of QC instrumentation
  • Strong understanding of GLP guidelines and data integrity principles
  • Experience in reviewing analytical data
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee raw material and intermediate product testing in line with registered analytical methods and production schedules
  • Ensure all testing adheres to cGMP, GLP, and safety standards (OSHAct)
  • Facilitate training for QC personnel and conduct performance reviews
  • Conduct and close Out of Specification (OOS) investigations
  • Drive the SOP lifecycle: initiation, review, approval, and implementation
  • Manage deviations, change controls, and CAPAs according to procedures
  • Ensure readiness for inspections and audits through regular self-inspections
  • Support Production Quality Reviews with relevant data and reports
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement input
