Job Description

Purpose



Work cooperatively with social media team, and for the business, to meet operational and team objectives.

Client Retention

Maintain informal and formal communication with existing clients about project scope's budget and timelines

Obtain client feedback on the services delivered.

Receive clear and written specifications of creative requirements from clients

Contribute to target of minimum on average per month for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives

Strategic Advisory

Respond to strategic briefs and work as and when required

Holding Clients and Internal Stakeholders accountable to signed off strategy and implementation

Provide rationale on strategic proposals to clients and sell in media opportunities

Interact and engage with relevant suppliers and ensure swift implementation with suppliers

Keep up to date with relevant industry and media and marketing trends.

New Business and Sales

Respond to briefs

Accurately communicate and sell creative opportunities to potential clients

Follow up on Sales Leads

Follow up with customers, compete orders and process sales leads

Administration

Work cooperatively with clients and for the business, to meet operational and team objectives

Prepare proposal and schedules according to the brief

Handle Orders, complaints, and other enquiries from clients

Provide general administrative support to the director as directed

Perform data entry when orders are completed or changed

Process Sales and data progress reports

Respond to emails, phone calls and others forms of correspondence

Ensure all client information is correct

Make sure that the tracker is always in sync with sales contracts

Adhere to departmental confidentiality and compliance standards.

Quality checks on request from clients.

Reporting

Report daily and or weekly on new and repeat business sales

Capture a log of clients contacted (declined and on-boarded).

Post Campaign reports/case studies for existing clients

Desired experience & Qualifications.

Matric or similar qualification NQF 4

Certificate/ Diploma in Advertising, Sales and Marketing or similar qualification

Proficiency in MS Office 6. Experience Required Essential

3-4 years' experience in a sales role with a proven track record Preferred

Client Service and Key Account Management experience in a marketing and digital industry

Knowledge of the media market
