Job Description
Well-established and growing company involved in water and water treatment, seeks to employ a Quantity Surveyor to estimate for tenders and proposals and to assist project engineers with financial control and contractual matters. Based in Somerset West.
For the position you would be required to have:
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a QS
- Experience in mechanical and manufacturing industry
- GCC and FIDIC
- Cost estimates
- Costing for Tendering on Government Projects
- Drawing up Bills of Quantities
- Drawing up Material Lists
- Work measurement for progress certificates
- Processing payment certificates
- Project cash flow forecasts
- Cost accounting and reporting
- Procurement planning
- Contractual advisor to engineers
