Job Description
Our client in the Engineering sector is looking for a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a project in KwaZulu Natal, Kwa Dukuza.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Fully registered as a Pr.QS with the SACQSP.
- 5+ years in cost management, BOQ preparations and contract administration for housing projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs) for housing projects.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery within financial constraints.
- Administer contracts, including tender documentation, evaluations, and negotiations.
- Conduct cost control and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and SACQSP regulations.
- Provide expert advice on cost management and value engineering.
