Coordinate and communicate regularly with QS team and project team subcontractors to ensure commercial controls are in place, understood and always followed.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow projections,
Evaluate and advise Clients professional teams on contractual cost and time claims.
Oversee cost management, estimating, and procurement processes in projects.
Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labour involved.
Prepare cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects, which involve liaising with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Prepare detailed cost plans, elemental estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.
Monitor and keep track of project progress and be responsible for the measurements, interim payments, and where necessary preparation of variations during the contract.
Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
